I have just transferred two trees from Wales to the new website. Looking at the again, I am sure there must be a connection to at least one of the trees I have recently been working on! Here are the links:
On the Rootsweb message board, I recently tried to help with a query about James Prickett GAMMON, who seems to go missing in London in the early 1900s. I wasn’t able to help much with the disappearance, but using the information from this contact, I was able to connect James Prickett GAMMON back into the MARK family tree, in Oystermouth, Glamorganshire, Wales. I am currently gathering a list of Gammon entries in the Glamorgan parish registers, and hope to publish an update to the MARK family group page soon.
A new family group has been added to my main website. This family is a family of seafarers living in the Oystermouth/Mumbles area in Wales. I have tracked back to William Gammon (born about 1804). There are some checks needed against full birth/marriage certificates to be certain though.
I am slowly developing a new workflow with the new blog & website. Further families should hopefully added at a faster rate from now.
Soon, my new domain name should start working which will make it easier for people to get in touch and contribute.
